Als je dít eenmaal hebt gezien in Home Alone, kun je het nooit meer negeren

Of je nou fan bent of niet: we zijn dankbaar voor Home Alone. Je parkeert het gezin voor de tv zodat je in relatieve rust kerstvoorbereiding kan treffen. Of je kijkt gewoon gezellig mee, dat kan ook.

Rood en groen

Hoe het ook zij: een oplettende kijker viel iets op aan de iconische filmreeks wat je nooit meer niét kan zien als je het eenmaal weet. En dat is, tromgeroffel…. het héle huis is in rood en groen gestoken. Maar serieus: alles. Alles. Van de kerstballen tot het behang, de fauteuils, de pannen tot godbetert de telefoon. Allemaal rood of groen.

Claire Reilly is de eerste die het opmerkte en leverde ter bewijs het beeldmateriaal. Home Alone: fantastische film, verschrikkelijke interieurstyling.

But WORST of all is the kitchen. Red pots, green tiles, red teapot, crimson floors, even a green rolling pin. Guys. We all go to the themed sections of IKEA and get ideas, but you’re not supposed to do it in real life.
