Babynieuws! Shay Mitchell is in verwachting van tweede kind

Ennnnn in 3…. 2….1….. maak je klaar voor een rondje langs memory lane. Kun jij je Degrassi: The Next Generation nog herinneren? Of wat dacht je van Pretty Little Liars of de spannende Netflix-serie You? Als jij groot fan was van deze series, zul jij de bloedmooie actrice Shay Mitchell (34) gegarandeerd kennen. Mitchell komt gisteravond met groot nieuws.

De Amerikaanse actrice is namelijk in verwachting! Haar dochter Atlas Noa Babel (2) krijgt er een broertje of zusje bij.

Naast haar rol als Emily in Pretty Little Liars is de actrice op het grote doek te zien in o.a. Dreamland en Mother’s Day. En naast actrice mag Mitchell zichzelf dadelijk trotste moeder van twee noemen. De beeldschone mama mag het nieuws namelijk eindelijk delen. Op haar Instagram postte Mitchell gisteravond een foto met de tekst:

“Saying goodbye to a loved one while simultaneously experiencing the joy of welcoming another into this world is the great cycle of life. It is also my most challenging season to date. I can’t help but think this was the universe’s plan all along, knowing I would need other worldly joy to cushion the blow of losing one of the most important people in my life. Yet, this is proof that love, life and loss can profoundly exist all at the same time. Gram, I miss you every day. Little one, we are so excited to meet you. I breathe a sigh of peace knowing you two are already connected in such a cosmic way.”

Mitchell refereert in haar bericht naar het overlijden van haar oma, en verwelkomt tegelijkertijd haar nieuwste gezinslid. Dat is volgens Mitchell the cycle of life.
